19 of the Russian's 21 titles have been achieved on hardcourt
A revitalized Daniil Medvedev claimed his maiden trophy for over two years with victory over Corentin Moutet in the competition final.
Medvedev, a former number one, has had a torrid season, achieving just one match at the Grand Slams and experiencing a difficult moment at the New York tournament.
His inconsistency on the tennis tour - and struggles with his service game in especial - led to him exiting of the elite rankings and ultimately separating with long-term mentor his previous coach.
Presently working with his coach and Rohan Goetzke, he has steadily progressed in the last few weeks - culminating in a tightly fought competitive triumph over opponent Moutet.
This represents the player's maiden title after the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard surface after spring of that year.
Victory also signifies the Russian has secured twenty-one championships at twenty-one different tournaments.
"This marks the first occasion I'm at a event with my children at once, so to secure a championship is really nice," commented tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in dedication of my second daughter my daughter, because the first title I won when my older daughter my daughter was delivered was for her."
Medvedev, the former major winner, had lost his past six finals, including in the German tournament in the past months.
His defensive strategy and recurring outbursts on court had led observers to doubt if his skill to compete at the top level was over.
Yet the athlete has made changes in the past month, making an effort to come to the net and compete positively, reinforced by an enhanced serving game.
He fought back from a break down in the initial set against the tricky opponent, securing four of the concluding five games to go ahead.
The pair traded break points in the second set before Moutet, bidding for his maiden professional title, gained dominance to create a final set.
He defended 4 early chances in a tight final set before the Russian won the break to that score to secure the win.
Appropriately, Medvedev earned victory with a point at the net, with the Frenchman incapable to manage a volley after two hours and 38 minutes.
